Origin of the Name
From the 12th to the 19th century, there were women who served guests called "Yuna" at the Arima Hot spring area.
They would guide bathers in order of turn and entertain them with dance and shamisen performances.
Each ryokan had its own traditional name for the Yuna.
At Hyoe Koyokaku, the Yuna were traditionally called “Miya.”
This premium lounge was named “Miya Terrace” by combining “Miya,” the symbol of Hyoe’s spirit of hospitality, with “Terrace,” reflecting its open, garden-facing atmosphere.
It is a special place designed to welcome and serve our most valued guests.
