Hyoe Koyokaku

Hyoe Koyokaku, with a long history over 700 years, is one of the most prestigious and traditional Japanese Inns in Arima Hot Spring Resort. Hyoe Koyokaku, once called Kitano-bo, was given its name by a warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi who reigned Japan in the late 16th century.

Hyoe Koyokaku was given its name by a warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi who deeply adored Arima Hot springs. Our hot spring facilities are the largest ones amongst Arima Hot Springs. Guests can enjoy Arima’s famous spa ‘Kin-sen’, gold colored hot spring, at any of those facilities. A variety of superb dishes on the table are highly praised as you can enjoy only at Koyokaku.  We always pursue traditional taste with the novelty to bring a lot of enjoyment to our guests. Hyoe Koyokaku is one of three oldest Japanese hot spas in Japan. Our three public baths are the largest ones amongst Arima Hot Springs; authentic Japanese-style bath ‘Ichi no Yu’, western-style bath ‘Ni no Yu’, and a bath with remnants of Japan’s good old days ‘San no Yu’.
