- Is hot spring bath healthy for expectant mothers? I’m 7 months pregnant.
- Every month one or two expectant mothers in the last few months of pregnancy visit Arima to soak in a hot spring.Dark red color hot spring water boosts blood circulation very well. Vigorous blood circulation of mothers is sometimes a little harsh for babies. We recommend for expectant mothers a quick bath at low temperature. ometimes you can’t see well the bottom of the bath due to red color of hot spring water. Please be sure to be attended when you take a bath in red color hot spring.
- I’m going to stay 2 nights at North Building. I’d like to have dinner at our room for the first night and at a restaurant for the second night. Is it possible?
- Dinner is served principally at guestrooms for the guests staying at North Building. However, we will prepare dinner at any of our restaurants upon your request. Guests at North Building can select either eating at a restaurant or at your guest room each day. Please ask for details at the time of the reservation. For guests who are staying at the West or South Building, dinners at your guestrooms are not available.
- Can you accommodate special occasions such as a birthday party?
- We accommodate various plans to suit guests’ request. We can prepare special food, cake, bouquet for the occasion. (Fee applicable) Please let us know if you have some special request.

Large public baths are on the 9th floor. All our facilities are wheelchair accessible. Please be informed that some part of our slopes may be a little steep for wheelchairs.

- How big is a karaoke room?
- Karaoke Bars are available. We can prepare Karaoke Bar depending on the number of your group. Small Karaoke Bar is for maximum 15 people, the largest Karaoke Bar maximum 50 people.
- Do you accept guests who are tattooed just for fashion?
- We may not accept any tattooed guests regardless of their occupation.
- Is parking lot available?
- Free parking maximum 180 cars is provided over several places. For more information, please contact us.
- Can we check-in our car before check-in time?
- Check-in time is 14:30. Your baggage can be stored at our cloak and your car can be parked at our parking lot earlier than check-in time. Please check-in at the front desk after you park your car in our parking lot. Take time to enjoy strolling around our neighborhood. Please consult the concierge in case of no vacancy of parking lot.
- Are there any other places than “Hana” where I can get a massage?
- Massage professionals in Arima resort will visit your room upon request. We can arrange the appointment upon your request after your arrival.
- We’d like view the night scene from Mt.Rokko. Is the reservation required? How long will it take for a round trip? Is there timetable for departure? Can I get more information about night view?
- Taxi fare may vary depending on traffic condition. Please be ready to pay around \11,000. Reservation is not necessary. Please let us know your desired time to start at the time of your dinner. We will arrange night viewing drive. It may take about 30 minutes for a round trip. Including the time to enjoy night view, it may take one hour and half. You can start anytime you want. However the taxi fare will be raised after 23:00 by 20 %. Moreover it may be harder to hire a taxi when it gets late. There are 2 scenic points to see night view. Please ask the driver for more detailed information. If you are concerned about the weather, please contact the front desk. We will check the weather information for you.
- Is a road map around Arima Onsen Station available?
- For the map around Arima Onsen Stn, please check “Access” in our website From Arima Onsen Stn. go southeast. Pass “Taiko-Bridge” to east until you see Mitui-Sumitomo Bank. Make right at the fork seeing a red bridge and a statue of a woman at your left. Walk the slope until you see Koyokan over the bridge.
- When and where can I see fireflies?
- Mid May to Mid June. Arima River and Tutumikataki Park are nice spots to see fireflies. For more information, please contact the front desk. We can show the spots on the map.
